Medals
Nikita brought her great grandad's medals to school. There were three star medals and three silver medals. They had colourful ribbons. Thanks for sharing them with us Nikita.

What army was Nikita's grandad in? NZ? From all of the medals it looks like he would have a lot of stories to tell.

He was in the New Zealand Army in the 22nd Batallion. He served in Italy and Africa.
Did he ever meet anyone in the US Army while serving there? Some of our relatives were also there.
